David Nage
PM, General Partnerships

David Nage is the Portfolio Manager, General Partnerships at Arca. In his role David is responsible for sourcing, due diligence, and supervision of new allocations for Arca Venture Funds. He has been with the firm for three years and serves on the Arca Investment Committee. David has a long history of venture investing in the digital asset ecosystem. He has over 15 years of asset management experience for leading private investment firms including AccessGroup, Holdings, Ponvalley and Apeiron Ventures where he was focused on early-stage venture investments. David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin.


Michael Dershewitz
COO, Arca Funds

Michael Dershewitz is Chief Operating Officer for Arca Funds. In this role he is responsible for fund launches, corporate development, and strategic partnerships. Michael is also Principal for the Arca Venture Funds where he leads sourcing, analysis, and deal execution. With more than two decades of finance and investing experience, Michael joined Arca in March 2021 from Amazon’s Corporate Development team where he led investments and acquisitions in software and transportation. Previously, Michael was Portfolio Manager and Head of Research at fixed income manager Brencourt Advisors, management consultant at McKinsey, and investment banker at JP Morgan. Michael earned degrees in Finance and Computer Science from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Harvard Business School.


Michal Benedykcinski
Senior Vice President, Research

Michal Benedykcinski is Senior Vice President for the Arca Endeavor Fund. Michal guides sourcing, due diligence, and deal execution for Arca’s venture investments. In addition to his portfolio work with founders, Michal leads thematic research into web 3.0 infrastructure opportunities. Michal has over 10 years of experience in financial services, with previous roles in M&A advisory and private equity. Michal was Director of Business Development at Hedera Hashgraph, where he led the financial services vertical and oversaw partnerships with multinationals and startups building on top of the enterprise-grade public network. Michal began his career in London, focusing on M&A in infrastructure and telecom at Evercore and direct investing with 3i Group. Michal holds an MBA from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Arts in International Studies from The Lauder Institute at The University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University.
